This fabric is made by Indonesian Batik craftspeople using hand stamp batik technique. The fabric itself is made from primissima cotton, which is the best type of cotton for batik process.

It's not a printed fabric, it's handmade, so every piece has a little imperfection that makes them special and unique.
Not like printed fabrics, batik has both sides patterned (slightly clearer in one side), makes it very beautiful for a scarf.

There might be a slight different of the size due to the dyeing process and the color due to the photo lighting.

FYI

If you haven't known about batik yet, batik is a traditional resist dyeing technique using wax coating during the process of making the pattern in a piece of fabric. That's the reason why it's sold per piece, not per meter.

There are 2 types of handmade batik in the market: "batik tulis" or hand-drawn batik which is 100% handmade (almost no repetition in terms of pattern) and "batik cap" or hand-stamped batik which is also handmade but with help of copper stamps, make the production faster and more affordable in price (with repetition in terms of pattern).

* The real batik does NOT use printing method. Batik itself is one of a dyeing method to make a pattern, so any other method is not the same as batik. You may often see batik printing in the market with a very low price, those might be a machine printed fabric with a similar traditional pattern like the one we make using batik technique. So, batik printing is basically a printed fabric and it can't be considered as batik.
